Nurturing Support

Breastfeeding is natural, but sometimes breastfeeding families need extra support. Every baby and breast is different and it is our role to Nurture you, so you can Nurture your baby. From early breastfeeding hurdles, returning to work or weaning, our certified lactation consultants will be there for you every step of the way.

We offer in-home lactation support or private appointments in our breastfeeding room. All appointments will provide a complete breastfeeding assessment, which will include:

• Baby's oral anatomy that could interfere with latch
• Mom's breast anatomy
• Nipple and breast pain and offer treatment options
• Teaching moms how to breastfeed and babies how to latch
• Milk supply and milk transfer by doing pre and post baby weights
• Suck and swallow patterns
• Nursing multiple and premature babies
• Assess your environment and offer suggestions to make it more suitable for breastfeeding
• Assess your needs for any breastfeeding supplies that will help support you
• Create your breastfeeding plan
